Why eSIM Sift exists

Buying a travel eSIM in 2026 is harder than it should be. Every provider runs its own store, its own pricing structure and its own definition of “unlimited” - and every review site seems to be selling something. We built eSIM Sift to answer one question honestly: for the country you are visiting and the data you will actually use, which plan costs least?

We do that with a maintained price database rather than opinions. Every plan on this site is a real, current listing from a real provider, re-checked on a fixed schedule, with the derived metrics - price per GB, price per day, fair-use limits - computed the same way for every provider.

What we are not

We are not a reseller. We do not host plans or process orders. When you click through to a provider, you buy from them directly.

We are also not a neutral as-a-matter-of-ownership: eSIM Sift and the Roami eSIM app share the same owner, and we disclose that openly here. What we can promise is that the comparison tables are generated from the same database with the same rules for every provider, Roami included - where Roami loses on price, the table says so.
